Phoenix Pride Launch of Your Gay Card is a success!

Many of our different designs for Your Gay Card were sold over the 2 day period.

Everybody got it! Comments such as:

“Wow this is so funny”, “What a great idea” “ I need a Straight Card for my friend” "I know just who to give one of those Cards to"

We were even an Item on the Sunday Scavenger hunt. Scavenger Hunt Participants had to get a signature from the Your Gay Card Tent.

The second day of the Pride Event is when we started to see people bringing their friends to us or just sending them to our tent so that they could buy their own Gay Card!

We actually saw the “Buzz” taking hold, with people coming to us knowing which card they wanted as they had to have their Own Gay Card because their friends had one.

We handed out our miniature Your Gay Card stick-on Pins and RU Cut or UnCut stick-on Pins. The RU Cut or Uncut Pin was a big hit! What a conversation starter too! Someone would ask what does that mean? Are you Cut or Uncut? We’d say: do you want to see? And they always said yes, then take out Your Gay Card and show them with the corners Cut or Uncut.

We had some interest in Customized business cards and maybe a business using these cards as a VIP Card and giving their better customers there very own Gay Card, these cards will have the business logo on the Card and then offer a discount when a VIP customer shows his or her Gay Card!

One group was talking about putting their groups logo on the card and handing them out, in their Goodie Bags, at their National Convention!

Our Lesbian Card was a good seller too as we hit the nail on the head with that particular design which turned out to be popular with all the Lesbians.


The Straight card was popular too and of course our standard Your Gay Card was the most requested card. Lots of Straight Cards sold with comments such as: these corners wont last long! (with a sly grin on their face).

We even have a “Used Lesbian Card” as someone changed their mind and came back the second day and traded it for a Standard Your Gay Card.

We had one person stop by our tent that actually saw Judy Garland in Concert and he said I hate to admit it but actually he looked very good for his age! We gave him a Complementary Card. We had 3 people that saw Bette Midler at the Continental Baths too!

Seeing groups of friends having such a fun time with their Gay Cards we have decided to offer a “Party Kit” So people can throw a party or invite friends over for a evening of camaraderie and gaiety and hand out Gay Cards to their friends and see by midnight who has any corners left on their Gay Cards.
